SURPRISE! Two blog posts in one day. I just had to get these 2 out since I have been so busy with school and I have not posted in ages.
I love thrifting. And even more, I love thrifting home goods. Over the past year, I have read thrift hauls I’ve loved like Siainstyle’s Tales from the thrift. I also love to watch auction/ vintage decor shopping hails on YouTube. I decided to marry them both and we have a new section called “ A Thrifted Residence”. In this blog post, be showing you some of my home decor and lifestyle thrift finds.
Let’s get in to it.
Find #1
Frames on frames. I’ve been searching for cheap frames for my gallery wall and I found more than enough. I ended up thrifting 5 frames for N4,500. 2 of them needed some repair, and the glass of the frames was either broken or not present. A quick visit to frame makers on Ojuelegba Road fixed that. My favorite frame is the gold one. It is absolutely gorgeous. I used some of the frames in my last post on where to find free art on the internet.

Find #2
I’ve been wanting a polaroid camera for ages. I’ve had to put it low on the list of buys because I had more urgent purchases. My stars were aligned earlier in the month when I won an auction on Upscale Rarity on Instagram for an Instax Mini 7s for N 11,000 which retails on Jumia for at least 3 times the price I snagged it for. I’m currently going through Ali express for cute cases.

Find #3
Last and least in size is this cute decor piece, I ended up giving my friend for their side table. It deserves it’s own special mention because it cost me N500. A steal!

I did thrift a bit more than is, but I’d to ease you into this. What do you think? Should ‘A Thrifted Residence’ be a regular feature on the blog?
Don’t forget to share.
