WHERE TO FIND 100 GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS ONLINE

A few weeks ago, I realized the biggest travesty; I’ve never really shared one of the places I go for inspiration.

It’s called Bloomberg Connects. It’s a free software that’s an arts, design and culture experience. Bloomberg Connects is powered by Bloomberg to bring art galleries, museums and cultural centres to a wider audience. I discovered it over a year ago while following the Design Museum on Instagram. They had a Charlotte Perriand exhibition that you could experience on the app. It was fantastic.

There are over a hundred of these organizations on the app and it’s truly special to have the opportunity to see so much cool stuff that’s far away.

I decided to make a list of the experiences I’ve really enjoyed. This list was determined by how much enjoyed the permanent collections and exhibitions and how immersive the digital experience is (or text, audio and visual aids).

The Wallace Collection

A stunning permanent collection. They have in their permanent collection – The Swing By Fragonard.

The Leon Morrocco Exhibit is nothing short of sublime.

They have a Rothko Room. Need I say more?

It was Mackintosh House assemblage that did it for me.

Louis Armstrong House Museum

I love Jazz and this experience was quite immersive. I got to hear recordings of him playing in his home.

And that’s about it. I try to visit the app only when I have some time because there’s so much to look at. I hope it brings you as much joy as it has brought me.
