One of the dream spaces I’d love to design is a hotel. A boutique hotel in particular with strong creative direction. One of the hotels I swoon over is the Puro Hotel designed by Studio Paradowski. This Polish design studio is phenomenal but the Puto Hotel was my entry into their work and is beloved to me.
Puro is a luxury hotel chain. To refresh their Krakow location, they hired the young design studio- Studio Paradowski. The hotel is is an exploration of a well-considered eclecticism vitalized by an impeccable art selection and a stunning colour scheme. With midcentury modern design as its base, warm wood is often the star complemented by rich colours and simple silhouettes. Polish ceramics, objects and fabrics help to ground the space in its context and continue the visual story. The rich colour palette of jewel tones, pastels and neutrals feels glamorous yet restrained. It is a feast for the eyes.
Have a look.
